Remember drawing on the sidewalk as a child and the feeling of just creating a work-of-art? Today was the perfect day to break out the sidewalk chalk that I had bought earlier this week and just go to town on the driveway behind our house. I've really been in a rut the past few weeks, I expect I'll be better once I finally take my promotion test on Wednesday.
The girls and I were pretty excited to vandalize the driveway and had fun doing it. I figured why not kill two birds with one stone; everyone gets outside to enjoy the sun and the kids don't get yelled at for drawing on the walls and other random surfaces they feel like drawing on.
I guess drawing on the pavement was a bit too "artsy" for little man. He insisted on breaking with a hard stop on everybody's drawings; poor little drawings never knew what hit them. lol. *sigh* Boys.
The past two days I've been checking out some Polaroid instant cameras. After doing some research on the cost of paper/prints, I decided against buying one. So figured I'd let out some frustration on my point-and-shoot camera hunt.
On a parting note, how 'bout the Super Bowl? Yea...I wasn't feeling either team and just broke away from editing photos long enough to catch that horrible halftime show. Is it just me or did Fergie sound like a screeching bird? Call me a hater if you must, I'm actually a huge Black Eyed Peas/Fergie fan. Aside from bringing Slash and Usher to the stage, I was slightly disappointed.
