I love the month of March for so many reasons. There's St. Patrick's Day, Spring kicking Winter's ass out the door...but most importantly, it's National Crafting Month. So to all my crafters out there, enjoy! The first week of March is proving to be pretty exciting so far, with the pending design team announcements for GCD Studios, Lily Bee, and Graphic 45.
I decided that I would give GCD Studios another shot this year and emailed my submission at the very last minute. I didn't get much sleep Saturday night because I was worried if my application may have lost it's way in cyberspace, but I received my confirmation from Heidi this afternoon. Phew! Now it's just the dreadful wait for March 5th to roll around.
This page is my current favorite. You may recognize the photos, I posted them last week. The "Artsy Urban" collection from GCD Studios is gorgeous and so much fun to play with. I know some scrappers don't like the glittered papers...I do. I was honored to receive a "Pick of the Day" nod over at Serendipity Scrapbooks for this one.
supplies used:
GCD Studios Patterned Paper - "Artsy Urban" Postcard, Butterflies, Blue Floral
Tag - Scarlet Lime Kit
Sadly, I didn't complete my next project until after the deadline...so it wasn't included with my application. Funny, last year I submitted all altered items and this year I submitted nothing but scrapbook pages.
supplies used:
GCD Studios Patterned Paper - "Debonair" Athens, Capri, Cote d'Azura
Chipboard House - Doodlebug Designs
Finally, make sure you visit the Eyelet's Etc. blog all month long as I'm hosting the challenges this month. The design team will be sharing inspiring projects daily during the entire month. Happy creating and thanks for stopping by!
