It was too nice of a day in the Florida panhandle to waste away indoors! To all our of friends on the east coast, sorry? I know it's not the same as shoveling snow, but it did take me 30-45 minutes to remove all the branches, dead leaves, and acorns off the driveway behind our house. If there is one thing that I like about the house that we're renting, it's the "backyard". It's large enough for the kids to ride on whatever contraption they feel like riding and all the trees remind me of a couple of my old neighborhoods when I was kid.
J got a new pair inline skates for her birthday, so she wanted to break them in today. I think she may have had them on for 30 minutes and threw them to the wayside for her scooter. 3 kids. 3 bikes. 1 scooter. What do they all want to play with? Nooo, not the bikes because they each have their own, of course not, they all want to play with the lone scooter. There's no such thing as sharing in a home with 3 kids. You pretty much have to have 3 of everything. *note to self* Pick up 2 more scooters on Monday.
Today is the 2nd day of CHA in Los Angeles, CA. One of the days, I really need to go to one. I've been talking about it for a couple of years, but the dates have never lined up. Since everybody is talking about what new releases are on their shopping list, figured I'd mention mine real fast.
First up, "5 & Dime" and "Rocket Age" from October Afternoon. I'm digging the vintage feel of both lines.
Second, "Sweetly Smitten" from Pink Paislee. I can't resist the classic shabby-chic design.
Last but not least, you know I have to plug Sassafras since they're my favorite manufacturer. Add "Soiree" and "Hometown Summer" to the list.
There you have it. Now back to hopping blogs and catching up on all the videos that are being posted.
