A few months ago, I joined a puzzle swap at the Serendipity Scrapbooks forum (before they shut down). I've been anxiously awaiting for my puzzle and it finally showed up on my doorstep today! This was the first time I've ever joined one of these swaps and I have to say that this now my favorite piece of decor in my craft room. I need to find a shabby white shadow box for this masterpiece. I love it!

In my previous post, I share a sneak peek of the swap package that I was sending off to Kathy for the Hot Mama "Alice" Apron Swap. Well here are the goodies, that I received from Valerie hostess of the swap blog.
First up, a beautiful handmade apron. I absolutely adore the colors, checkered fabric, and appliques she used.

Here are some of the tuck ins that she included in the package. Cookie cutters, cupcake cups & toppers, and an adorable handpainted cigar box.

I adore this altered cigar box. It's actually pretty sparkly, the photo below doesn't do it justice.

I opened the box to find more goodies inside. A watercolor postcard, some stationary, a copy of Alice in Wonderland published in 2000, and a yummy recipe for fresh strawberry cake. The kids and I are going to read a chapter of the book tonight and I'm hoping to bake the delish cake tomorrow.
The girls and I started working on our dollhouse today. I still need to drill some holes into the bookshelf, so I can make the room dimensions the same on every level. I plan on using some patterned scrapbook paper for the walls. If all goes well, I'll share some photos tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
