Today was the last day of school for Jayda.  It is still hard to wrap my head around the fact that she will be moving on to the 5th grade next year!

Jayda has really blossomed into a student athlete.  She won several awards during their student recognition ceremony. 

Not only did she finish the school year on the A/B Honor Roll...

She was also recognized for running the most laps (156) during the school year and as the fastest runner in her school!  That's right peeps, my little girl outran the boys and left them in her dust.  Her fastest mile time was 7:26!

I am one proud mama!!!

I love handmade...

My favorites list on Etsy has grown the past week.  Here are some handmade items that I'm gaga'ing over at the moment.

1. I want a Waldorf doll. They are also known as Steiner dolls and made of wool and cotton.  Their appearance may appear simple to some, but they strengthen a child's imagination and creativity. I could totally use that right now. ;)  If you do a search for them on Etsy, you can find a lot of really gorgeous ones.  I really love the one below. She reminds me of my girls.

2.  I'm loving this set of tweed woodland squirrels and their facial expressions.  Are they not the cutest thang?

3.  The sassy camera strap has been reinvented, check out the fabulous strap below with the fancy ruffle.  This one in particular is one of my favorite color combinations.

4.  This magnetic family chore chart has been on my list for a while.  I love that there is a large selection of chore tiles so that you can tailor the chart to meet your needs.

5.  Finally, this is not your grandma's fanny pack.  Thank you Fiona, from Burn Notice, for making the fanny pack cool again.  Sometimes, lugging around a purse can get downright annoying when all you want to carry is your phone, some cash, ID, and your keys.  Check out this black leather fanny pack.
